| Software | Requirements: This application requires a standard installation of Microsoft® Excel 2002 or 2003, or Microsoft® Office XP (which contains Excel 2002). It will not not load on earlier versions of Excel (such as Excel 95, 97 and 2000) or newer versions such as Excel 2007. For the operating system, Microsoft Windows® XP, Windows® 2000, Windows® ME, or Windows® 98 is required using NTSF or FAT32 format. Also required is at least 100 MB (megabytes) of free hard disk space, a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive, 128 MB of RAM (more memory will result in better performance), a 500 Mhz CPU, and a Video controller board capable of High Color (16 bit) display. A video board with 4 MB of RAM should be capable of High Color display for a screen area setting of 1024 by 768 pixels. If your computer has a board containing 16 MB (or more) of screen memory, then you will likely be able to display in True Color (32 bit) resolution. An SVGA, XGA, or SXGA, color monitor capable of at least 16 bit high color display is also needed. For output, a 600 dot per inch (or more) color laser, color inkjet or black and white laser printer will be required. | |||||||||||||||||

| 2. If your version of Excel 2002/XP is SP1 or SP2 (Service Pack 1 or 2), then for improved operability, you may want to download (at no cost to you) and install SP3 which you can find via the web site www.microsoft.com. | ||||||||||||||||||

| 3. Running the Canadian Currency Collection™ 2005 software on a video board and/or monitor not capable of 16 bit color resolution, will likely result in graininess in the screen images displayed on your monitor. To see what your monitor settings are, go to Start -> then to Settings -> then to Control Panel -> then click on Display, and once there, choose settings. In the ‘Colors’ scroll-box, if High Color (16 bit) or True Color (32 bit) is displayed, then you have the appropriate color resolution settings for this application. Most computers made since 1998 have video boards that allow High Color or True Color display. | ||||||||||||||||||
